Served on fine China by candlelight in the Rooster’s Den, with a nice selection of background music
playing on a Bose System, the Skip Lunch® Breakfast may be the most talked about aspect of your stay at The Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast Inn
(after all, it has been
singled out
by the Mayor of Williamsburg). And you won’t find this in any other hotels or inns in colonial Williamsburg.
What is the Skip Lunch® Breakfast? Well,
years back, we had a college football player staying with us,
and he had your typical football player’s appetite. We were
worried that our breakfast wouldn’t be able to satisfy his
hunger, but as it turned out he was more than full when he left
the table. He took me aside and said, “Thanks for the Skip Lunch
Breakfast.” Needless to see, our Williamsburg bed and breakfast
has been serving similar size and style meals ever since.
Even though the menu changes daily,
visitors can count that each morning they will be awoken by the
smell of freshly brewed coffee, fresh homemade baked goods and
any number of other tasty treats. When they enter the Rooster's
Den for breakfast, they're welcomed by juices, teas and an ample
fruit selection to start the meal. And then on to the main
course. Usually it will have a little twist to it to make it
even more delicious and memorable. Favorites include the stuffed
French Toast, the unusual egg platters and other tantalizing
breakfast entrees.
The goal of each meal is to
delight all your senses and make sure you enjoy waking up and eating with the other guests. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know ahead of time so that we can accommodate you.
Now that you’ve learned a little bit about
the ‘Breakfast’ part of our B&B, have a look around and
see what
we have to offer in the ‘Bed’ part.
