And how did it all start? With a a question of course.
“What is a bed and breakfast?” Ike asked a friend that suggested
they have the ideal location and home in Virginia to open one. “Oh, it is
giving someone a night’s lodging and feeding them in the
morning,” the friend answered. In retrospect and years later
they have discovered that statement is a little off the road.
It truly takes the combination of innkeeper/guest relationships to
have an award winning Inn, which is what The Williamsburg
