Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast
Where Hospitality is a Matter of Pride
Our bed and breakfast on Jamestown Road in Williamsburg stands as a fine example of an 18th-century plantation-style structure. Constructed in Williamsburg’s bicentennial year (1976) and located in the Architectural Protection Corridor, our four-bedroom home has welcomed guests, family, and friends for over thirty years. An easy three-block leg stretch puts you in the middle of attractions and activities, including dining, shopping, and of course, the cobblestoned streets of America’s Colonial history.
Our inn features an upholstered interior that's a cross between a treasure chest and an antique store, with all the modernamenitiesa traveler expects today. It features a menagerie of finds, art, knick-knacks, and memoirs collected from near and far by the owners and curated for our guests.
Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast is also ideally situated to walk in the footsteps of Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and John Tyler on the beautiful and historic campus of The College of William and Mary. The inn offers convenient off-street parking. Well-behaved pets and owners are welcome at Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast.

Longest Continually Operated Bed and Breakfast in the Area
A History of Comfort
Circa 1982… Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast was born during the early resurgence of what we now think of as a “B&B.” Created to serve our guests with hospitality-first, family-friendly and personalized accommodations as they visit the area’s attractions. Initially founded by Ike and his late wife Helen as a labor of love, a cure for boredom, and a “what’s next” they spent many years building, expanding, collecting, more collecting, and evolving to what is the always-changing needs and expectations of the traveling public. Testament to hard work and dedication, Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast now stands as one of the oldest, continually operated Bed and Breakfast in the area.

What Our Guests Are Saying
- ReyWe had a wonderful stay at Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast! The cozy ambiance and charming decor made us feel right at home. Laura, our host, was fantastic—welcoming and attentive. Waking up to the smell of delicious bacon was a treat, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Highly recommended! It was the first time travelling with out puppy and they were able to accommodate all our needs. Thank you very much, Laura!
- YuliaWe LOVED staying at Williamsburg Sampler. Lauren was the best host we could ever wished for! Lauren is very kind and friendly. She was always available by phone or texts and provided us with everything we needed to know about Williamsburg. The Sampler feels very homey - cozy, clean and very stylish. We felt right at home. We loved the complimentary treats and amazing homemade breakfast - scrambled eggs from Lauren’s own hens, four grain porridge and amazing desserts. My whole family fell in love with Lauren’s B&B and can’t wait to come back!
- MelindaThis B&B made our trip!! Cannot recommend it more…it’s a quant house with so many thoughtful touches around the communal rooms and bedrooms. There’s a fancy coffee machine, free sodas/waters, fruit, etc. for the guests. In the morning, the guests sit around the large dining room and eat an AMAZING breakfast made by the cook! This was such a great way to start the day of doing touristy things, the breakfast was felt so fresh, cooked with love and overall delicious. The bedrooms were also great, with extremely comfortable beds and smart TVs. We would absolutely stay again, this was such a great part of our trip! It’s also a 15 min walk to town so in a great location! Not too noisy either sense it’s on a quiet road.
